FAQs of Shark Navigator Pet Pro ZU62

Q:  What is the difference between Shark Navigator ZU62 and the AZ1000W?

A:  There are a couple of main differences between the Shark Navigator Zero-M Self-Cleaning Brushroll Pet Pro (ZU62) Upright Vacuum and the Shark APEX Upright Vacuum with DuoClean Zero-M Powered Lift-Away, AZ1000W.

The first is that the AZ1000W has DuoClean Technology.

This features a bristle brush to deep clean carpets and an additional soft brushroll to pull in larger particles and directly engage floors for a polished look.

The other difference is that the AZ1000W is a Powered Lift-Away.

This allows you to remove the canister and still have power to the floor nozzle.

Both vacuums have the Zero-M Anti-Hair Wrap Technology.

Q:  Can you please tell me the difference in Shark Navigator ZU62 with Shark Navigator ZU62 zu60?

A:  The ZU60 and the ZU62 are from the same series of vacuums.

The main difference is the color and the included attachments.

The ZU60 is Terracota and it includes the Upholstery Tool and the 5.5″ Crevice Tool.

The ZU62 is Pewter Grey Metallic and it includes the Duster Crevice Tool, Upholstery Tool, and Dusting Brush.

Q:  Does the Shark Navigator ZU62 have more suction power than the Shark Navigator ZU62 speed zu561?

A:  I think they are both fairly even

Q:  How does Shark Navigator ZU62 compare with the zs362? which is better on carpet?

A:  Both fare pretty well. The easy lift away handle and accessories is a plus for lifting away pet hair from furniture. The no tangle roller brush is so much better, though.

Q:  What is the difference between models zu62 and zu62c?

A:   Compare Shark Navigator Zero-M Self-Cleaning Brushroll Pet Pro Upright Vacuum, ZU62 and ZU62C:  these 2 vacuums are the same. The difference is where they are available for purchase.

Q:  What’s the difference between nv752, nv251 and Shark Navigator ZU62?

A:   The NV752 is from the Rotator series.

The NV251 and ZU62 are from Navigator series.

The NV751 is a Powered Lift-Away. This allows you to remove the main body of the unit from the vacuum and still have power to the brushroll.

The Zu62 is equipped with the Zero-M Technology. Zero-M removes long hair, short hair, and pet hair from the brushroll. The unique bristle guard and comb work together to separate hair from the brushroll and send it straight to the dust cup.

Each of these vacuums include different accessories.

The NV752 includes the Upholstery Tool, 11″ Crevice Tool, and the TruePet Mini Motorized Brush. The NV251 includes the Pet Multi-Tool and 5.5″ Crevice Tool.

The ZU62, including the Duster Crevice Tool, Upholstery Tool, and the Dusting Brush.

Q:  Is Shark Navigator ZU62 an update to the Nv251 with different accessories and zero-m?

A:  Both units have the same suction power but may have different accessories.

Q:  Is this as good as the NV26?

A:  This unit is a great unit just like the NV26. This unit is a newer unit and has more features such as a self-cleaning brushroll.

What is duo cleaning?

Answer: It means that you can clean on hard floors and carpets. Simply adjust to that particular setting. When you vacuum on hard surfaces there is no kickback (where the object you’re picking up going backwards).

Question: Has anyone tried vacuuming under a bed approx 6.5″ high and if so does it work well?

Answer: No the tank gets into way but the handle does detach and works excellent under beds in our residence of 66 rooms

Question: How do you find the wand and brush attachments for stairs?

Answer: Just ok. House is pretty long

Question: How well does this vacuum do edge-cleaning, in the corners at the base of walls, without having to use the wand?

Answer: I think it does a great job edge cleaning . I think it’s hard to move around

Question: What is the actual capacity (in quarts) of the canister?

Answer: The canister is fairly large, probably about a gallon, maybe a little less. This vacuum really picks up the dog hair !

Question: Does the hose kink?

Answer: No, it is stiff and not long enough if you use the attachments. You have to be very careful when using the hose or it will pull the vacuum and it falls into furniture or on the floor. The vacuum almost fell into my tv when I first used it. I would not purchase this vacuum again and am looking for one to replace it.

Question: I have a lab/heeler mix. He sheds like crazy. We have hardwood, tile, and marble flooring. Would this be the best option for us?

Answer: We Have about 75% Tile and 25% Carpet. I am Amazed at How Much it Picks Up! P.S. We Have 4 Dogs and 4 Cats! It Gets The Job Done! Both Large Dogs (75 lb + )

Question: Can the roller brush be replaced? I can’t on the other Shark vac and must replace the entire head for $150!

Answer: I don’t know but you probably can find out on their website or contact customer service.

Question: I want the gray color zu62 why can”t i find it ??

Answer: It’s on Amazon

Answer: It does have washable filters.

Answer: Yes. It has an auto adjuster and works in high piles, low and hard floors.

Question: Does this work well on hardwood floors?

Answer: Yes it works great on hardwood floors and tile. I use the carpet mode for both. I love this vacuum.

Question: What is the return policy? I recently purchased a Dyson that I was very unhappy with and had no issues returning it after 2 months to kohls.

Answer: Only know about Skark

Question: Are there fees for return?

Answer: Not with Amazon

Question: I ordered the 5th and it arrived the 7th but my order still says in transit arriving the 20th

Question: How to empty the canister?

Answer: To empty the canister, look below the long handle to the handle that’s attached to the dirt container. At the back of that small handle, there are two buttons; one on each side. Pull those toward you, and the dirt container will release from the vacuum.

Question: When I’m vacuuming the vacuum turns off when put upright (brush off hose on). I’ve replaced it once but now my new one is doing it. Any advice?

Answer: Double check the manual, but I think it’s supposed to stop when locked upright and just running.

If you’re referring to the fact that it’s upright and you’re actively using the attachments and it’s turning off, then that does sound like an issue that maybe you should contact the manufacturer about

Question: How do you clean out the hair that gets sucked up?

Answer: We are happy to assist you with this. This vacuum is equipped with Shark’s Zero-M self-cleaning brushroll which delivers nonstop hair removal.
